Meditation
An avid meditator for more than a decade, I am beginning to support others on their own meditation journeys.
I have meditated daily for more than ten years, usually in silence. In December 2025 I spent a week in silent retreat at Upaya Zen Center, and I am now in a two-year teacher training in nondual meditation.
Meditation already finds its way into my coaching when it serves the client. Increasingly, I am offering it on its own.
Most meditation gives the mind something to do: follow the breath, repeat a phrase, quiet the thoughts. Nondual meditation asks a simpler question. What is it that is aware of all of this?
Rather than concentrating or trying to get somewhere, the practice invites you to notice the awareness that is already here, before thought divides experience into “me” and “everything else.” Over time, the sense of being a separate self looking out at the world tends to soften, and with it much of the striving that drives our suffering.
You don’t need any particular belief to explore it. Curiosity is enough.
For a taste of it, read “Allowing Everything to Be as It Is.”
A few meditations I have recorded and published. They are free to use.
Read the posts behind them: “Your Future Self” and “Unplug Yourself.”
Whether you are just beginning or deepening a practice you already have, I would love to hear what you are looking for. Schedule a conversation and we can explore whether meditating together would help.
